Description
This holiday flat is located in an ancient rural settlement called Penne, a hamlet in the municipality of Conca dei Marini. The centre of the small village is the Church of San Michele Arcangelo (built before 1208), visible from the terrace and the flat windows.
The house was probably built between the 17th and 18th centuries. Originally, the family lived on the first floor, while the stables and barns were on the ground floor. The house only acquired its current appearance at the end of the 19th century, with its characteristic skylights and façade decorations.
This holiday flat is a bright and cosy flat that occupies the entire upper floor of the villa and faces the sun and the sea. The flat can accommodate four people in approximately 100 square metres. The living room has a mansard ceiling and charming wooden beams. The furnishings are warm and cosy. The furniture includes a sofa and four armchairs. This room is also equipped with a television. From the living room, a double-glazed French door leads to the terrace, which overlooks the sea and the Amalfi Coast. This room also has four double-glazed arched windows, also with views of the sea and the coastline. The kitchen is made of marble and handmade tiles from Vietri. The view of the sea and coastline can also be enjoyed from here thanks to the double-glazed arched window. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, an Italian espresso machine, plates, glasses, wine glasses, cutlery, pots, a salad bowl and several plastic food containers. A dining table can seat up to six people. The flat has two bedrooms. The first has a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and double-glazed windows overlooking the surrounding gardens. The second bedroom has two single beds (80 cm x 200 cm), which can be joined to form a double bed, if desired. The double-glazed window overlooks the terrace. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. Each room has a wardrobe, two bedside tables and a chest of drawers. The beds are equipped with orthopaedic mattresses and hypoallergenic pillows. During the winter season, thicker blankets or duvets are provided. The bathrooms are decorated with handmade Vietri tiles and have a washbasin, toilet and fully enclosed shower cubicle. In addition to air conditioning (in all rooms), satellite TV and Wi-Fi internet access, the flat also offers heating for winter stays. The rental price includes everything, including bed linen, towels, bathrobes, air conditioning, wireless internet access and satellite TV. Intermediate cleaning service and linen change are also included in some flats.
The terrace is 15 square metres and is furnished with a table, chairs, parasol and sun loungers. From the terrace there is a magnificent view of part of the coastline and the sea. Access to the property is via a gate.
The property is about 700 metres from shops, restaurants, a bar, a supermarket, a butcher's shop and other services, and about 30 steps from the road where you can park your car free of charge. Guests will be provided with a small guest book with information about the house, Conca dei Marini and the Amalfi Coast, as well as some shopping tips; some offer discounts and welcome gifts.
