Nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany, at the foot of the beautiful Etruscan town of Cortona, we find Villa Il Sasso, a majestic and luxurious property overlooking the surrounding valley from its elevated position at the top of the hill where the splendid town of Cortona stands.

The interiors of Villa Poggio (350 square metres) are meticulously detailed, a wonderful blend of classic Tuscan style and modern elements. Every room is bright and the furnishings are of great quality and charm. The beautiful ceilings with exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors and parquet flooring are the real highlights of this property.
Villa Poggio is spread over two floors, connected by an external stone staircase, and can comfortably accommodate up to 13 + 1 people. On the ground floor, two entrance doors lead to two splendid living rooms: the one on the right-hand side of the villa is equipped with sofas, satellite TV, fireplace and dining table, and is connected to the fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the garden, making it extremely convenient for dining al fresco under the pergola. The living room leads to the sleeping area, consisting of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
The second entrance on the left side of the villa leads to the second living room, also furnished with sofas, satellite TV, fireplace and dining table, as well as a convenient kitchenette. The external staircase leads to the first floor, where there is a small loggia. The entrance on the right leads to a small kitchenette, while the door on the left leads to the lovely living room with sofas and satellite TV, and to the sleeping area, consisting of two beautiful double bedrooms and a single bedroom, which can be converted into a twin if necessary. Two bathrooms with showers complete this floor.
The villa offers every comfort: it is equipped with air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, mosquito nets, washing machine, high chair and cot.

The outdoor spaces are spacious and well cared for in every detail. The property is completely fenced off, has an electric gate entrance and a covered parking space. In front of the villa is a lovely pergola equipped with a large table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining. Next to the pergola there is also a beautiful brick barbecue, very convenient and functional. The swimming pool (10 x 5 metres, minimum height 1.20 metres - maximum height 1.80 metres, fenced in and protected by a gate, open from 30 April to 30 September) is exposed to the sun all day long and is equipped with sun loungers, parasols and an outdoor shower. From the pool you can enjoy an enchanting view of the town of Cortona and the surrounding countryside.
Villa Il Sasso, in spite of its private and quiet location, is just a short walk from the centre of Camucia, a town full of shops.
