The archaeological and nature park in Manerba del Garda is fun to visit. It is a beautiful setting with breathtaking views. You can see the remains of city walls and on a clear day you can see Sirmione. There are remains of the fort. There are opportunities to hire sun loungers and parasols. Make an excursion to the island of San Biagio. You can take a ferry from Porto Torchio to island San Biagio. The island is a large green lawn where you can relax. Gabriele D'Annunzio's villa in Gardone Riviera is very rewarding to see (www.vittoriale.it). The villa is a beautiful place and it is very nice to see a villa of a narcissistic and eccentric man. Really nice!   At Avanzi (www.avanzivisite.it) you can taste great wines.
