General:
A truly beautiful holiday home away from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism. This area is much quieter than the east or north of the island. The house is located about 10 minutes from the nearest town, Menfi, surrounded by olive groves and wheat fields. There’s one other holiday home next door, otherwise the only neighbors are a flock of sheep. Everything is spotless and well-maintained. We made great use of the wonderful pool and the barbecue. The uncrowded beach is just a 10-minute drive away. There are several restaurants in Menfi (highly recommended: La Regina d’Alabastra), as well as in Sciacca and Selinunte (insider tip for seafood: Restaurant Boomerang). Communication with the hosts is possible in English through their daughter. Highly recommended.
