Tips from owner:
Guests may have a stroll in the surroundings, excursions to small hamlets of the area – the hamlet of “Sorona” is famous because its production of beans, an ingredient which forms part of many typical dishes. Other known villages are Castelvechio and Aramo. Another recommendable visit is “Macchia Antonini”, a magic spot with big fields and a lake – you may reach also easily the moutains of the Abetone. These spots are predestined to try local specialities in one of the many “trattorias” (there is a small restaurant near the house, which is open during the weekend; on request the owner may prepare you dinner on the day of your arrival
