Seasonal Swimming & Relaxation Options From May to mid-September, guests can enjoy a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool nestled within the park—ideal for sunny afternoons. Visiting in cooler months? No problem. All guests receive access to the subtropical swimming paradise at Holiday Park Hunzedal, just a 15-minute drive away. Please note, the Hunzedal pool is closed from 8–26 January 2024 for maintenance. Explore Drenthe & Local Dining Located in Gasselternijveen, the villas provide a peaceful base for exploring the stunning nature reserves, cycling routes, and quaint villages of Drenthe. After a day of adventure, head into nearby towns like Assen or Borger to sample local Dutch cuisine at cozy cafés and family-run restaurants. Whether you're planning a relaxing break or an active holiday, this villa delivers a perfect mix of comfort, location, and quiet charm. Note: From 31 August until 2 September 2026, the catering facilities will be closed due to the arrival of a group of students. As a result of their presence, some inconvenience or disturbance may occur during this period.

Tips from owner:
The outdoor swimming pool is open from early May to mid-September, subject to change due to weather conditions. During the months that the swimming pool is closed, from mid-September to early May, you can use the swimming paradise at Holiday Park Hunzedal. This park is 15 minutes away by car. Due to maintenance work, the recreational pool at Holiday Park Hunzedal will be closed from Monday 8 January to Friday 26 January 2024.
