Enjoy the Frisian way of life in the peaceful village of Leons, the heart of Friesland. This modern villa, newly built in 2023, offers easy access to the region’s major cities. Several holiday homes of the same standard are on the property, some of which can be booked together for larger groups. Leons is a charming village with historic character, surrounded by natural beauty. Nature lovers and hikers will enjoy walks and bike rides through the Frisian countryside, taking in the serene waterways and farmlands. Nearby nature reserves, including De Alde Feanen National Park and the Frisian Lake District, provide opportunities for sailing, canoeing, birdwatching, and exploring Friesland’s diverse landscapes. Local culture can be savored through Frisian cuisine, such as sugar bread, Fryske dúmkes (Frisian cookies), and Beerenburg, a traditional herbal bitter. The villa features several bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a central bathroom with a bath. Relax on the terrace or in the furnished garden, and prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Guests can also rent electric bicycles and sloops on site. Children can enjoy the large bouncy castle and panna cage, making it a great choice for families.
