Description

This quietly situated traditional country house is located just outside the village of Calonge and offers wonderful views across the countryside to the sea. In the village of Calonge, just 800 metres away, there is a small supermarket, several cafés and bars and several good restaurants and decoration shops. The lively tourist resort of Cala D'Or with its numerous small sandy bays, a variety of restaurants, bars and nightlife as well as shops, souvenir shops and boutiques is only approx. 4.5 km away. The exclusive marina of Cala D'Or offers, in addition to numerous excellent restaurants, various boat charters and boat tours along the picturesque south-east coast. Various other water sports are offered at the small bays. The Vall D'Or Golf Club is less than 10 minutes away by car and has developed into a meeting point for non-golfers with its restaurants and inviting terrace. The beautiful, spacious outdoor area offers privacy and is landscaped with lawns, tall palm trees and Mediterranean plants. The large pool with Roman steps (10m x 5m and min. 1.2m to max. 2.00m deep) is surrounded by a sun terrace that invites you to sunbathe and relax. The entire terrace offers a marvellous view across the landscape to the shimmering blue sea. The barbecue area with brick barbecue and outdoor sink is located under a covered and shady terrace. The large, rustic wooden table invites you to enjoy long barbecues in the balmy summer air. There is a swing and a table tennis table for the children. There is space for several vehicles on the enclosed plot of land. Can Tanca is a typical Mallorcan country house that has retained its traditional ambience, with high ceilings, rustic wooden beams and the dark, antique wooden furniture so typical of the island. The entrance leads into a spacious reception room, off which are 2 double bedrooms and the kitchen. The very spacious kitchen also serves as a dining area and has access to the outside terrace and the garden/pool area. Both bedrooms on the ground floor are furnished with double beds and antique Mallorcan furniture. Both rooms have en suite bathrooms. The upper floor offers a living area with sofas, satellite TV and beautiful views of the garden. There are also two further double bedrooms, each with 2 single beds. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and shower. A small sun terrace with fantastic distant sea views completes the upper floor. All bedrooms are equipped with hot/cold air conditioning at fixed and limited times of use.
