Cyclists and walkers have the choice between trips to the sea (20 minutes by car) or more sporty trips in the forests and mountains above Alcaucin (15 minutes by car) or around Lake Vinuela (5 minutes by car).
Bicycles for rent in Velez-Malaga or Torre del Mar. You can make a very nice bike ride along the coast to Nerja (tourist attraction).
Beautiful, Morish villages and towns in the area (eg Comares, visible from our terrace on a mountain top).
Granada with the Alhambra in 1 hour by car, Malaga in 50 minutes by car.
For the culinary delight: restaurant El Horno (along the road to Velez-Malaga) or the hotel 'Vinuela' by the lake.
Many bars and restaurants in Velez-Malaga and Torre del Mar offer a choice of 3-course daily menus (between 9 and 12 euros).
