Melis is a fabulous country house set in a beautiful tranquil landscape with great countryside views of fields and trees. In the village of Alqueria Blanca, 4 km away, you will find shops and cafés. The small village of Cas Concos with some shops and restaurants can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The beautiful Mondrago nature reserve with various walking paths and the 3 beautiful sandy bays of S'Amarador, Font de N'Alis and Caló de Burgit are 8 km away. Santanyi is approx. 5 km away and offers a lively weekly market on Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as a variety of restaurants, cafés and some galleries. The well-known tourist resort of Cala D'Or with an almost endless choice of restaurants, shops, several sandy coves and the international marina is approx. 12 km away.Large, luxurious country house with plenty of natural light, consisting of a fabulous main house and two guest houses in a beautiful mix of modern design and traditional materials. The garden is just as luxurious as the house. There is a large manicured lawn and several Mediterranean plants such as rose bushes, lavender, rosemary, palms and carob trees - a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the rural surroundings. Melis offers two salt-based pools. A pool with brick steps (16 m x 4.5 m, depth min. 1 m, max. 1.7 m) and a large children's paddling pool with brick steps (10 m x 1.8 m, depth 0.4 m). A covered terrace with a complete outdoor kitchen with barbecue, gas hob, fridge and sink invites you to enjoy delicious meals "al fresco". The property is fenced, has a lockable access gate and offers parking spaces. The main house is wonderfully spacious and offers luxury in every room. The entrance hall and living area are double height. From three sides of the living area, you can enjoy a great landscape view of fields and trees. The fantastic kitchen has a cooking island and offers a long dining table with chairs. On the ground floor there is a wheelchair-accessible bedroom with 2 single beds. There is a ramp for wheelchair access to the main house and this bedroom. This bedroom has wide doors and a wheelchair accessible en-suite shower room with access to the outside. A separate utility room and a guest toilet complete the ground floor. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, each with its own terrace. One bedroom has an antique Mallorcan double bed and a luxurious bathroom with separate shower. From this bedroom there is access to a partially covered terrace with wonderful views of the rural surroundings, the small town of Santanyi and the coast in the distance. The other bedroom has two single beds and a beautiful new shower room. There is access to a terrace with marvellous views of the countryside. Steps lead down to the garden. Guest houses The two guest houses are close to the house and have a view of the garden. The first guest house has twin beds, ensuite shower room and access to a private terrace with table and chairs - a lovely place to relax. There are 4 steps down to reach this guest house. The second guest house is an open-plan bedroom/bathroom with antique furniture, a four-poster bed and wardrobe. There is also access to a private terrace overlooking the garden. Air conditioning with fixed and limited hours of use from 21.00 to 09.00.
