We had a wonderful stay in Applehult! The house is spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday with many different seating arrangements inside and outside. The third bedroom is simply in the second living room, in the corner behind a little separation wall. The place is surrounded by peaceful nature, it’s the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy long walks, and take in the fresh Swedish countryside air.The location is great – quiet and private, with a beautiful path through the forest to the lake, where a nice private jetty into the lake and a Sauna awaits you. The lakes in the area are all brown and dark due to high iron in the water which took a bit of getting used to. There is a rowing boat one can use to get to the little island in the middle of the lake. We especially loved the outdoor space, where we could sit, enjoy the view, and listen to the sounds of nature.Our hosts Lotta and Ingvar (later one lives on the nearby) were kind and welcoming, making sure everything was just right for us. We left with great memories and would love to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy retreat in beautiful Sweden.

Sehr netter Empfang und tolles Haus/Grundstück. Das Badezimmer könnte etwas besser ausgestattet bzw. renoviert werden. Ansonsten klare Empfehlung!

Eine Woche pure Entspannung. Das Grundstück und das Haus ist wunderschön, wir sind richtig zur Ruhe gekommen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Richtiger Schweden-Sommer-Traum. Preis-Leistung unschlagbar. Ingvar und Lotta sind beide so herzliche und hilfsbereite Menschen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
