We had a wonderful stay in Beddingestrand. The cottage is small but has all the amenities thar are needed. The beautiful sandy beach is a 5 minutes walk away. The owner’s own holiday-house is on the same property, but they don’t interfere and privacy is maintained. The village is small, there is an ICA-store with long opening hours and the large ICA in Trelleborg is only a 30min drive away. The village itself doesn’t offer very much in terms of entertainment. But there are some places to visit like Fotevikens viking museum, Swaneholm slott, Ystad film studios, Glimmingehus and also Lund and Malmö are not that far away if you travel by car. All in all a very pleasant experience, we can recommend this place to all who wish to spend some quiet days in Sweden.
