Description
Here in Skäppevik, you live about 4 km south of Bergkvara, close to a bay with a shallow sandy beach and a bathing jetty.

In this cozy house you will find a nice feeling of calm. In the living room there is a comfortable sofa group and a dining table and next to it is the nice glass veranda where you can sit in the evenings. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, fridge/freezer and a functioning wood-burning stove that you can use when needed. The bathroom is recently renovated and in good condition. Downstairs you will find a bedroom with a bunk bed. There is also an extra room with a single bed if someone would like to sleep a little more separately. Upstairs are the other two bedrooms. One has a double bed and the other has two single beds. Here the ceiling height is lower than normal.
The garden has plenty of space for various activities for both children and adults. In the small gazebo you can sit and have cozy evenings and there are also barbecue facilities.

You live in a scenic setting with the sea right next door where you can go in just a few minutes for a swim. There is also a summer restaurant, kiosk, football goal, mini golf and boule court, playground, barbecue area and a larger swimming area in an adjacent cottage area.

To see and do in Skäppevik and the surrounding area

The nearest town is Bergkvara, about 4 km, where there are several restaurants, a grocery store and a paddle hall. Blomlöf's fish smokehouse in Brömsebro, 9 km away, is well worth a visit. Kristianopel 16 km away, is a hidden gem with its fine guest harbor and restaurants. Café Sött och Salt is a very popular and well-visited place. Maybe go to visit beautiful Kalmar Castle or Skälby Farm, which is located just outside Kalmar, where you have close contact with the farm's animals and which is popular with families with children. A world of dinosaurs – Europe's largest dinosaur museum. You drive to Öland with all its sandy beaches and attractions in 35 minutes.

Final cleaning is not included but can be added to your booking: 1500 SEK/stay.
