In the heart of Södersocknen in Istorp, Marks municipality, lies this classic red cottage with white knots, surrounded by lush greenery, birdsong and proximity to the beautiful lake Fävren (or Fevren, as it is also called).

Lake Fävren is a real gem that stretches across both Västra Götaland and Halland. Here you can enjoy a rich birdlife, over 185 bird species have been observed from the popular bird tower at the northern part of the lake, and those who love fishing can look forward to pike, perch, zander, roach, bream and tench.

The entrance to the cottage is at the back. Here you step into a well-planned ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen - complete with coffee maker, microwave, stove, airfryer and dishwasher. There is also a dining table with space for four.

The spacious bedroom has a 160 cm double bed and a patio door to the countryside, while the large living room has both a table and chairs - perfect for cozy evenings. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.

In the loft, which is reached via a staircase on the outside at the entrance, there are two additional 80 cm single beds.

On the plot you can relax in a scenic environment, listen to the birds and maybe say hello to the neighbor's cows that sometimes graze nearby. Here there is truly time and space for peace and quiet.

Just 30 minutes away you will find popular Gekås in Ullared - perfect for a full day of shopping. Or why not take a trip to Varberg for sun and swimming, visit the Saturday market or just stroll along the beach promenade?

There are also plenty of attractions and activities in the surrounding area: for those who love outdoor activities and want to experience the beautiful nature of West Sweden, there are hiking trails & nature reserves
