Warm welcome to this charming newly renovated croft (year 2025) which is nestled in a lush green area, surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers that create an idyllic atmosphere.

In this beautiful landscape outside Sandhem you will find this charming croft which is part of Tunarps Säteri – Sweden's equestrian paradise. It is rolling hills that shape the hilly landscape in the surroundings, which really invite you to go out and discover on foot or in a saddle.

The building has been carefully renovated to retain its original character while modern amenities have been added to create a perfect getaway for rental and a nice holiday stay for a family or group of people.

You are welcomed through the white door into a small hall. To the left the living room opens up where new meets the older charm. Here there are two single beds on either side of the room. In the middle is the dining room table with a solid kitchen sofa. It feels like living in a doll's house. Very homely and cute.

You have to watch out for the high thresholds in the floors and the ceiling is 1.95 cm high. The kitchen straight ahead has everything you could need. There is a dishwasher, electric stove with hotplates, oven, microwave and refrigerator. In the small door straight in from the kitchen - there you will find a freezer and cleaning supplies. The bathroom is completely bright, spacious and modern. There is a shower cabin, toilet and sink.

The stairs up are a bit steep so be careful if you have small children or be careful if you have problems walking.

Up here is another cozy corner with a sofa and armchairs. Inside the house hides the bedroom with a double bed. Up here is a sloping ceiling and where they saved the old beams from the original croft.

The croft has a classic Swedish red facade with white knots, a nice blue sign on the gable of the house that gives an inviting and warm feeling. Outside the cottage there is a seating area, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a quiet evening with good friends.

It is good to know and take into account that outside the cottage there are cows that graze until mid-June. Then from mid-July and the rest of the month.

The house includes a small boat with space for two adults and two children. The Tidan River flows near the house and Lake Stråken is not far away. Every year many thousands of fishermen fish in Lake Stråken, the lake is almost three miles long but at most 500 m wide.

It is possible to rent a canoe at the Kyrkekvarn canoe center, which is 7 km from the house. Paddling along the Tidan is very beautiful and it is also possible to make longer excursions and sleep overnight at the prepared rest areas.

The renovated croft is perfect for those looking for a quiet and relaxing environment, and it is a beloved place for summer guests who want to enjoy life in the country while still being close to local attractions and activities.
