Comfort chalet in the Quatre Vallees ski area with Swedish stove and free WLAN. The spacious chalet has a light-flooded living room with dining area and a well-equipped open-plan kitchen. The window front in the living/dining area offers spectacular views of the Alps. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The balcony and terrace both face south and west respectively and provide plenty of light and wonderful panoramic views.
The chalet is situated in a sunny location in the Les Masses district, with a small supermarket and a restaurant ~400 metres away. The centre of Les Collons is ~3.5 km away. This pleasant holiday resort has shops, restaurants, après-ski pubs, bank, post office, ski hire, ski school. In Thyon 2000, ~7.5 km, indoor swimming pool and childcare (from 18 months; winter season). To the quaint village of Hérémence ~2 km, here you will also find restaurants/cafés, a supermarket, a post office. Pharmacy and butcher in Vex, ~5 km. The attractive cultural and shopping town of Sion is ~18 km away. Attractive winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes.

Ski info Chalet altitude ~1,550 m, ski area up to 3,330 m, with Mont Fort glacier. The 4-seater express chairlift from Les Masses (~300 m) can be reached on foot from the chalet.
The ski run back to the bottom station of the lift is partly snow-covered. Depending on the snow conditions, you can ski further down to near the chalet (no piste; not groomed or marked; at your own risk; ~250 m from the piste). The chairlift is part of the overall Les Collons - Quatre Vallées - Verbier area. "Skiing at the highest level" with 410 kilometres of pistes and numerous fantastic ski routes and freeride runs. From Greppon Blanc (2,700 m), wonderful deep-snow descent "Eteygeon" (not marked or groomed; at your own risk) over 1,300 metres in altitude into a quiet side valley; return to the ski area by bus. Large snow park "Centralpark" near Thyon. Outdoor artificial ice rink in Les Collons, free admission. Attractive toboggan run between Thyon and Les Collons. The region offers ~12 km of cross-country ski trails.
Ski pass: up to 20% ski pass discount - depending on the season - on the normal price for the entire Les Collons - Verbier - 4 Vallées area and for the local Printze sub-area from a 6-day pass; also applies to children, young people and senior citizens.

Summer info The chalet has garden furniture. Les Masses-Les Collons also has a lot to offer in spring, summer and autumn, especially the many hiking and mountain bike tours attract visitors. You can walk along the "Suonen" (former irrigation canals) with a slight incline. Other activities on offer include horse riding, climbing, gliding and bowling. A stroll through the historic town of Sion, the capital of Valais, and a boat trip on the underground lake of St-Léonard are well worthwhile. Another highlight is the 285 metre-high Grande Dixence dam.
