Ungefähr 6 km nördlich vom Ferienhaus liegt der Fischerort Thorsminde. Richtung Süden gibt es in Husby eine 110 ha große Dünenplantage, fantastisch für Spaziergänge, Wandertouren und Fahrradtouren.
Für Hunde gibt es den Hundewald in Husby, der komplett umzäunt ist.
