The cosy living and dining area naturally includes the obligatory wood-burning stove. This provides wonderful warmth, particularly on cooler evenings or during winter stays.

Take a seat on the sofa or at the dining table in the living room and let your gaze wander outdoors. Through the large windows in the living area, you can see the dunes and fjord. If this doesn't help you unwind and relax, put on comfortable shoes and take a long, relaxing walk with the dog.

The comfortable Nordic-inspired décor features clean lines and calming colours that blend harmoniously together.

On sunny days, grab your current favourite book and settle into one of the comfortable sun loungers. The holiday home offers many sheltered spots.

While the children and dog play in the garden, you might prepare a delicious meal for the whole family. Fresh fish is readily available in nearby Thorsminde. Hobby anglers can clean their catch at the outdoor washing station.

For little ones, there's a swing and sandpit – ensuring many hours of outdoor entertainment. At the fire pit, you can bake your own campfire bread, which children are sure to love. On hot days, cool off under the outdoor shower (available April-October), and the well-maintained grounds also feature an additional small terrace.

Vester Husby near Ulfborg is certainly worth a visit. From here, you have an excellent base for exploring West Denmark. The small fjord harbour of Helmklink Havn and the forest playground in Husby are less than 0.6 miles (1 kilometre) away.
