"This comfortably furnished holiday home is situated on a 1600 m² garden/natural plot on a quiet, sunny hillside with a view of the Oberschönau mountains. Around Oberschönau there are approx. 250 km of hiking trails. Shops, restaurants etc. are nearby. Activities nearby: In the middle of the Thuringian Forest, in the ""WM holiday region"" Oberhof, lies the idyllic mountain village of Oberschönau. It offers approx. 100 km of well-signposted hiking trails and a well-groomed network of ski trails in winter. But sports such as mountain biking and Nordic walking are also popular. Climbers can practice their sport on the Finkensteinen or the ""Twelve Apostles"". High mountains of 800 m surround the place, such as the Hermannsberg, the Ruppberg, the Hohe Möst and the Donnershauk, on the crest of which the Rennsteig runs along. A hike there is rewarded with a fascinating panoramic view and good visibility. Winter fans of fast descents will get their money's worth on the ski slopes with lifts in Steinbach-Hallenberg and Oberhof. Mobility: Not suitable for people with restricted mobility.

In the winter months there may be limited evacuation of the path to the holiday home. The landlord will then help you with your luggage on the approx. 350 m long walk. (Youth) groups are not allowed.
