This detached holiday home has been recently restored, preserving the wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. The house offers a wonderful home base during your discovery of Tuscany! Get to know the neat and atmospheric interior, and enjoy all the comforts in and around the house. Take a refreshing dip in the shared swimming pool (shared with other guests, 10 x 5 m., open from May 1st to October 1st), or start a new book on your private terrace (beautiful view!). There is also a barbecue! Very handy if you want to organize a cozy culinary evening under the stars. A nice way to end the day! The holiday home offers a beautiful view over the Tuscan landscape. In Monterchi, you can go shopping, visit the bank, and you can have a nice meal out. Tuscany has plenty to offer: for example, you are only 30 km from Arezzo, one of the larger places in the region that has produced many celebrities, such as the poet Petrarca and the architect Vasari. Closer to home, the medieval towns of Sansepolcro (17 km) and Città di Castello (15 km) are worth a visit. Safety devices required by law (fire extinguisher, gas detector, and carbon monoxide detector) are present in the house.

Also nearby are: - the medieval hamlet of Anghiari; - Sansepolcro, birthplace of Piero della Francesca; - Caprese, the birthplace of Michelangelo; - and the magnificent Arezzo where on the first weekend of each month an important antiques market is held and, in the summertime, the “Giostra del Saracino” Saracino Joust) in medieval costumes is organized. From the house it is also easy to reach - Cortona, with its Etruscan art museum; - Florence, the capital of Tuscany, the city of Michelangelo's David, Uffizi, the Duomo with the famous Chapel of Brunelleschi, and many other masterpieces of world renown - Siena, where every year – with the splendid frame of Piazza del Campo – the world renowned Palio is run; - all of the Chianti area - famous for its vineyards and much more; - and finally the Verna Sanctuary dedicated to Saint Francis In Umbria you can visit: - Città di Castello which, in addition to its magnificent Duomo, painting gallery and palaces of the historical town centre also holds the Burri Foundation and Museum, and each summer is the site of the Festival of Nations (an international Chamber Music festival). It is also easy to reach the famous cities of Umbria: Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Spoleto and Gubbio that the entire world envies us for their spectacular beauty.
