Due to its location you can reach many nice towns and cities in less than an hour drive including Perugia, Gubbio, Orvieto, Spoleto, Citta di Castello, Spello and Todi. The area around Lake Trasimeno is full of villages that were once castles including Citta della Pieve, Castiglione del Lago and Panicale. Lake Trasimeno is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. You can also go fishing. Are you interested in wine? Go to Orvieto (Orvieto wine), Montefalco (Sagrantino wine) or to Torgiano. Inside the house is a book with lots of information about the area.
