In the nearby Swiss Tessin region there are beautiful places to spend a day out with the CHILDREN (Monte Tamaro with its cable car and several adventure parks). Valverzasca has fantastic bathing spots in the fresh water of its river. In winter, skiers can enjoy the small ski-lift at Alpe Forcora only 30 minutes away, or travel to the well-known Swiss ski resorts of San Bernardino, Airolo and Andermatt in just over an hour. Golf lovers will find 6 prestigious courses within a range of 40 km.
