Boasting a fabulous sunny lake view sun terrace this modernised property is situated in an exclusive residence which has been built in the ancient grounds of a noble villa in the charming and well serviced village of Fiumelatte.

The modernised property is ideal for small to medium sized groups up to 6 with a spacious open plan living room with sofa, flat screen TV and direct access through French doors to the splendid terrace.

A dining area sitting up to 6 is situated to the open plan lake view room and a stylish separate kitchen fitted in a contemporary finish with modern day appliances ideal for a comfortable self catering holiday is situated off from the living room. Appliances include a gas hob oven, toaster, microwave and coffee machine.

The sunny lake view terrace is of an extremely generous size with enough space for sunbathing on the sun-loungers and for dining alfresco, with incredible panoramic views of the famous Golden Triangle towns of Varenna, Bellagio and Menaggio! The breathtaking lake view really serves as the most memorable backdrop to your holiday here and is truly unique with surrounding views of the ancient villa grounds with its historical grotto fountain and the famous Fiumelatte river which gushes down past the apartment.

The property ideally sleeps 4-6 guests with a spacious master bedroom with double bed leading out onto a sunny balcony terrace and a second bedroom furnished with a small double bed and study desk. The double sofa bed to the living room can be also used to accommodate additional guests as and when required.

A modern bathroom fitted with a power shower, wash basin, WC, bidet and washing machine completes the property and a private garage is located in the gated grounds.

The picturesque village of Fiumelatte provides guests with a local grocery shop, bakery and an authentic Italian restaurant ideal for dining out as well as a beautiful lakefront setting surrounded by ancient villas, townhouses and lush gardens around the atmospheric Fiumelatte river. The village also benefits from a frequent bus service, a mainline train station with services to Lecco and Milan and lake road which leads directly into the resort town of Varenna in a matter of minutes!

Varenna is the perfect town to explore during your stay with the famous attractions of Villa Monastero with its botanical gardens and the ancient Castello di Vezio with its falconry displays and medieval displays during the summertime. The beautiful town is also very popular with romantics who are drawn to its tree-lined piazzas featuring boutique shops, it’s pretty café lined lakefront with its scenic promenade and fine lake view dining which can be found in the many hotels in the eastern shore town.

A fast and frequent car and passenger ferry service runs from the town to Bellagio and Menaggio making the other central lake attractions all highly accessible. Central lake activities include lake and lido swimming, golf, tennis, water sports, sailing, kayaking, paragliding, hiking and cycling.
