The residence is built in the historical grounds of the 17th century Villa Capoana, which was built for the Duke of Mount Marciano and still conveys its noble past from the beautifully preserved monumental fountain and garden area with the famous Fiumelatte river gushing past.

Guests can either access the gated residence by a flight of steps from the street level or by the private garage which is located inside the residence and is provided for guest’s convenience.

The contemporary holiday home benefits from 80sqm of modern and spacious open plan living and serves as the perfect retreat from which to relax and entertain during your Lake Como stay.

A stylish and inviting living area is furnished with a comfortable cream sofa, flat screen TV with DVD player and a dining area for up to 4. Doors lead directly out to the sunny private lake view terrace, which is the perfect spot for sunbathing and ‘alfresco’ dining, with breathtaking views across the central lake to enjoy!

The fully fitted contemporary kitchenette provides all the desired appliances for creating delicious home-cooked meals during your stay, with a gas hob, oven and microwave. A local grocery shop and bakery in Fiumelatte provides a good selection of food and fresh produce for guests during their stay and the nearby restaurants of Varenna provide the perfect excuse to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine!

The holiday home is the perfect choice for a romantic escape, with a spacious double master bedroom leading directly out to the sunny private terrace which enjoys spectacular lake views.

Additional guests can easily be accommodated to the living area, which features a comfortable double sofa bed.

The modern bathroom is fitted with a power shower, washbasin with vanity mirror and hairdryer, a WC, bidet and washing machine.

The apartment is conveniently located along the main lake road of Fiumelatte and guests can easily reach the local grocery, shop and restaurant in the village.

Fiumelatte is extremely well connected with a train station operating a Lecco-Milan service located in the village and the famous resort town of Varenna with its frequent car and passenger ferry service being within easy reach on foot in just 5 minutes.

The famous golden triangle town of Varenna is famous for being the ‘Porto Fino’ of Lake Como, and boasts a romantic charm and fascinating heritage, with cafe and shop lined cobbled streets leading to timeless churches, piazzas, the famous lake front Villa Monastero gardens and the medieval Castello di Vezio which is situated in mystical woodland above the town.
