Summer house ´Klein Wimmenum´ in Egmond aan den Hoef, with in spring the flower fields in the area , the North Holland Dune Reserve* and near the beach and sea of Egmond aan Zee or Bergen aan Zee. The summer house is located in a quiet area on the edge of the cosy village of Egmond aan den Hoef and access to the North Holland Dune Reserve is almost at your doorstep. Here are optimal cycling and walking opportunities. The rental price includes 2 tickets to this unique nature reserve, where Scottish Highlanders and wild horses live. The distance to the sea and the wide sandy beach of Egmond aan Zee is * 3 km, and can also be reached by bicycle / car. From the holiday home you walk in * 10 minutes to the centre of Egmond aan den Hoef and in * 20 minutes to the centre of Egmond aan Zee, with its cosy shops, Restaurants, Cafés and Coffee terraces.

On the sunny side there is a terrace with garden furniture. The terrace is screened, with access, both from the living room, and from a side entrance next to the summer house. BBQing is allowed on the terrace. There is also parking and you can bring your own bikes. Bicycles can also be rented in Egmond aan Zee if required.

The summer house is a modern stone holiday home with central heating, and consists of an entrance hall, bathroom, bedroom, living room with kitchen and private garden with a south-facing terrace with garden furniture.The house is furnished for 2 persons and all rooms are on the ground floor. The living room has a cosy seating area and a dining area. Here you will also find games and information material about the Egmonden and its surroundings. A flat screen LCD TV with cable TV is available and you can use WIFI / WLAN for free! The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, bread toaster and a mixer. In the bedroom there are 2 single box-spring beds. Both beds measure 80x200cm. The beds are equipped with duvets and pillows, without bed linen. You can bring your own bed linen and towels or rent them from us for a fee. The bathroom is equipped with a sink, shower and toilet and washing machine.

The municipality of Bergen consists of the 6 villages, Egmond aan Zee, Egmond aan den Hoef, Egmond Binnen, Bergen, Schoorl and Groet. Egmond aan Zee is the most famous of the Egmond villages and originated over 1,000 years ago as a fishing village, which you can still clearly see in the villagescape. And since the beginning of the last century, it has been very popular with tourists who mainly come for the peace and quiet and the healthy sea air. Prominent on the promenade is the Jan van Speyk lighthouse. The wide beach offers numerous opportunities for relaxation: beach chairs, sun beds, windbreaks and beach pavilions. Of course, there are also fishing, walking, swimming, sailing and surfing opportunities. The village offers holidaymakers plenty of entertainment, terraces, restaurants and a shopping area with something for everyone. In summer, there is a weekly event you can enjoy from a terrace. The shops are open all year round, 7 days a week, and easily accessible for everyone. Some places of interest in the spring are the blooming flower fields, the ruins and castle chapel in Egmond aan den Hoef, the abbey in Egmond Binnen, the Egmond museum, the cheese market in Alkmaar (Fridays) and the shopping cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem or Amsterdam. The summer house has a folder with numerous outings and places of interest.

The rental price includes 2 tickets for the Noordhollands Dune Reserve, and during your stay you can use Internet WIFI/WLAN free of charge.
