Welcome to “Sjömagasinet”, a spacious and inviting holiday home with room for larger groups. The house offers 13 comfortable beds, of which 3 are best suited for children or teenagers. It is beautifully situated in one of Småland’s most scenic areas.

You will be staying almost directly by the waterfront, and just 100 metres from the house you can enjoy boat trips (boat rental available), swimming and fishing (fishing permit required). On many evenings, the sunset paints the sky and lake in stunning colours.

The ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen and living area with lake views, a dining table, comfortable seating and direct access towards the water. The attractive bedroom offers a patio door, beautiful lake views and space for a cot if needed. Adjacent to the bedroom is a large bathroom with a shower and its own patio door.

Upstairs you will find three family rooms with sloping ceilings and individual décor. The East Lake Suite features a double bed, a full-size bunk bed and a small child’s bed. The West Lake Suite offers a double bed and an older, slightly shorter bed with high headboards. There is also room for a small child’s bed if required. Both suites have French balconies overlooking the lake.

The third family room, “Starry Sky”, features roof windows and allows guests to enjoy views of the stars directly from the double bed. For this reason, blackout curtains are not available. The room offers three full-size beds and an extra bed hidden behind charming traditional doors. This floor also includes a lounge area and a bathroom with a shower.

Towels can be rented for SEK 150 per person.

Sjömagasinet also includes a large garage/boathouse and storage facilities.

The owner does not accept party groups or similar events.

A simple forest beach is located just 100 metres away along a newly created path. Here you will find seating areas, a barbecue spot and a shelter where adventurous guests are welcome to spend the night. Please bring your own sleeping bag and sleeping mat, as bed linen may not be taken from Sjömagasinet.

Five additional swimming areas can be reached within a 10–15 minute drive.

Hagablänket, as the area is called, is a true oasis and a perfect place to experience the Småland countryside at its finest.

For guests wishing to explore the surroundings, there are many attractions nearby that the owner will happily recommend. For longer excursions, Sjömagasinet is ideally located for visits to Astrid Lindgren’s World, the Kingdom of Crystal, High Chaparral, Kalmar Castle, Öland, Växjö, Jönköping and Målilla Moose Park.
