Description

Chalet Écureuil is a 130m2 family-friendly chalet in the car-free zone of La Tzoumaz.

The valley station of the La Tzoumaz gondola lift is about 200 metres from the chalet.

The holiday home can be reached from the valley station of the La Tzoumaz gondola lift via a 5-10 minute uphill hiking trail. It is also suitable for children.
However, the path is unsuitable for people with walking difficulties.

The chalet has two floors and can accommodate a maximum of 15 people.
There is a large garden seating area with a fireplace in front of the chalet.
The large lawn invites you to play and linger. The mountains, the surrounding nature, the view of the village centre of La Tzoumaz and the gondola lift can all be admired from here.
On the ground floor are the utility room, the very well-equipped kitchen, a WC with a small bathtub and the living room. The bedrooms and two spacious bathrooms with shower and WC are located on the upper floor.
There is also access to the balcony, which offers a marvellous view of the mountains and the surroundings of La Tzoumaz.

Kitchen linen, towels and bed linen are provided. However, you must make the beds yourself.

The ski room has plenty of storage space for skis, snowboards, ski boots, helmets and ski clothing.
Four sledges, 5 bum sledges and 7 shoe spikes are freely available.
In the basement room there are various outdoor games (badminton, boccia, kubb) and other outdoor toys for the children.
As the chalet is located on the car-free slope of La Tzoumaz, it is not possible to offer parking at the chalet.
However, on arrival and departure, you can park for two hours in the public car park opposite the valley station of the mountain railway or the tourist office to unload and load your luggage.
There is a large public car park at the entrance to the village, which can be used free of charge during your holiday. In winter, a ski bus runs from this car park directly to the valley station of the gondola lift (check the timetable). However, the route can also be easily covered on foot (approx. 10 minutes' walk).
Another option is the multi-storey car park opposite the valley station of the gondola lift in La Tzoumaz.
The car parks there are subject to a charge.
La Tzoumaz is located at an altitude of 1500 metres above sea level in the municipality of Riddes. It is part of the 4-Valles ski area, is connected to Verbier, Bruson, Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon and offers a total of 410 kilometres of ski slopes with 72 lifts.

For skiers, snowboarders and ski tourers:
In winter, if there is enough snow, you can ski directly from the chalet to the valley station of the gondola lift. Likewise, if there is enough snow on the valley run, a turn-off leads directly to the chalet (not a public piste, easily accessible for experienced skiers/snowboarders).

In winter, as in the other seasons, there is plenty on offer for sports enthusiasts and families: Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, small ice rink, hiking, biking, downhill, scooter rides, walks, picnic areas, small indoor swimming pool (please note opening times), playgrounds etc.
