Description
Welcome to our small 1-room flat in Orselina. Here you can relax, enjoy, feel good, switch off and discover Ticino! We like to spend our holidays here ourselves and have furnished a hide-away with a great view of the lake with great attention to detail. The flat has everything you need. We provide coffee, good bed linen and cosy towels. Non-smokers only, please. No parties. The flat is centrally located and is practically and nicely furnished. It consists of a 160cm double bed and a cosy Chesterfield-style sofa. The bedroom and living room have new oak parquet flooring. The kitchen is well equipped, but without a dishwasher. There are various restaurants within a short walking distance of our flat and there is a bakery nearby, which is also open on Sundays. A 10-minute walk takes you to the Madonna del Sasso church, the Cardada-Cimetta cable car and the funicular railway to Locarno. There is a beautiful park in the immediate vicinity. You can walk to Locarno in about 20 minutes, there is a direct staircase or the beautiful Way of the Cross from Madonna del Sasso. There is NO private car park, but it is extremely easy to reach by public transport. The bus stop "Orselina Posta" is directly in front of the house. Bus no. 3 and 312 run regularly to Locarno railway station, the centre and the lake. Orselina is situated in an airy and quiet location above Locarno and is a perfect base for exploring Ticino.
