Our colonial house in Palagnedra in the canton of Ticino offers the perfect experience for those seeking a mountain escape, with a capacity for up to 11 persons + 1 baby. Situated in an ideal location that mixes tranquillity and comfort, this house offers a unique connection to nature by being located directly on the edge of the forest.

Designed to comfortably accommodate large groups or families, the villa has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, including a shower and a bathtub with integrated shower. The accommodation is located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors and boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding valley, guaranteeing relaxing moments and picture-postcard views. On the ground floor is the living area with a lounge and relaxation area on one side and an eat-in kitchen on the other.

Those who wish to bring their pets will find this villa particularly cosy, with a maximum of 2 pets allowed and a fully dog-proofed enclosure, ensuring safety and freedom for your four-legged friends during your stay.

Guests can enjoy various outdoor spaces, including a terrace and balcony, which are great for dining al fresco or simply enjoying a quiet moment admiring the scenery. Although the property does not have underfloor heating (but still has a hydroelectric pump with adjustable radiators in each room), the presence of a fireplace adds a touch of warmth and atmosphere on cooler evenings.

The accommodation, a detached house with historic architectural value, offers all modern comforts for an unforgettable stay. Guests have at their disposal a washing machine and tumble dryer for their exclusive use inside the accommodation, adding convenience to their stay.

A starting point for many excursions, it is only 2000 metres from the lake and water sports activities (in the artificial lake you can fish if you have a licence, and canyoning can be organised in Intragna), and only 200 metres from the village centre, this house for groups or extended families is the ideal base for exploring the beautiful canton of Ticino, combining the pleasure of exploration with the comfort of a home that is steeped in history and nature.

Furthermore, it is less than twenty kilometres from the town of Locarno, home to the International Film Festival, many evenings with concerts, the world-famous fireworks event on Lake Maggiore "Lights and Shadows", which also offers facilities such as the Lido, which includes spa treatments, and much more.
