The very well-kept detached house stands in a spacious, 1860 m2 park-like Mediterranean garden with many palm trees, azaleas and camellias.

An ideal place to relax and unwind.

Casa Elena is situated in a favoured, absolutely quiet and sunny location on the outskirts of Tegna, a typical small Ticino village in the Terre di Pedemonte region, in the direction of the Maggia Valley/Centovalli and in the immediate vicinity (approx. 7 minutes by car or regional train) of Ascona or Locarno.
Ideal for visiting all the festivals!!!

Tegna and this property in particular used to be a creative retreat for many artists, musicians, composers and writers.

Our guests enjoy the peace and quiet on the terrace or in the garden and the view of the mountains opposite Lake Maggiore or retire to one of the comfortable armchairs in the living room with one of the many books from the library.

All windows and patio doors are fitted with fly screens/doors. The windows are heat insulated.
Fans are also available.

The children will find games and painting utensils and a rich TV programme for rainy days. Of course there is also free Wi-Fi.
A changing mat, a baby high chair and a high chair for toddlers are available. There is also an inflatable paddling pool.

In the kitchen there are numerous kitchen utensils for cooking enthusiasts and, thanks to the insect screen door, you can enjoy the balmy evening air with the patio doors open and also take part in the conversations on the patio while cooking.

Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity (5 min) or in large numbers in Losone (6 min)

Those who simply want to indulge in culinary delights will find a number of good restaurants and grottos in the village and the immediate vicinity, which can also be reached on foot.

If you want to go swimming in Tegna, you can reach the river or the wonderful "Pozzo di Tegna" lagoon in approx. 800 metres.

The large Lido of Locarno with its sandy beach, sunbeds, various pools and water slides as well as a fantastic spa is also a welcome change.

From Casa Elena you can easily set off on wonderful excursions, great hiking trails and a varied sports programme, such as golf, tennis, mini golf, horse riding, sailing, climbing, etc.

Or take a leisurely stroll through the famous Swiss holiday resorts of Ascona + Locarno with their numerous cultural events, beautiful shops, arcades, countless restaurants, including on the promenade overlooking Lake Maggiore, bars, ice cream parlours and the casino.

Great events await you, such as the international film festival in Locarno or the Moon&Stars music festival, as well as the world-renowned JAZZ Festival in Ascona and much more.
