Our lovingly renovated and furnished old stone house is located on the edge of the old town centre of Novi Vinodolski. Everything is within walking distance from here. A secluded plot, large covered terrace, old fig trees and grapevines add to the charm of this old house. Whether dozing in the hammock on the terrace at lunchtime or relaxing in the shade of the grapes, you can unwind here.

The sea can be reached in 10 minutes. All shops and restaurants are just a few minutes away.

In the morning, the church bells wake me up and a few rays of sunshine sneak through the shutters. The white curtains move in the light breeze. I open the shutters and am greeted by a bright blue sky without a cloud in sight. The sea is as smooth as glass - it's going to be a beautiful day. The children have already fetched bread, crusty white bread that is still warm, with Croatian honey and Dalmatian ham, so the day can begin.

We pack up our things and head to the beach, to our favourite bay. We let off steam in the crystal-clear, warm water. The children have so much to discover - shells, fish, sea urchins, beautiful stones and everything has to go! We head home in the midday heat to take a siesta - who's on the terrace in the hammock, who's on the deckchair under the fig tree. In the afternoon, relax on the beach again, take a dip and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

In the evening, after a shower, we head into town - let's see what we fancy today - a large pizza or a meat platter with chips? Then definitely an ice cream. What a successful day - I'm looking forward to tomorrow!
