General:
Great location and big house. But it really needs some move love and repairs. And although the pictures (playground, games, child chair) tell you otherwise, it is not child friendly at all. So Loch Strand asks us to contact them if there are any problems when you arrive. I tried but customer services just waved everything away. It is not child friendly as as child could hang itself on the curtain ropes and there where at least 4 places with cleaning stuff and other poisonous things. In the kitchen there where big knives and other things in the lowest drawers. We needed to put everything higher for the kids, which took time too. The freezer was dirty, with frost and mold and an old blue plastig bag freezed into it. So we needed to defrost and clean that. The sauna is used as a store room for a sandy dirty floormat, dirty floor mobs and the vacuum cleaner. Feels not very welcoming, but it should be normal... So we needed to clean the sauna too. The wifi and smart tv where not working, not even after 10 restarts so we just gave up sending emails about that too. The swivel chairs are sagging and should be replaced. The taps and shower heads should be replaced. Not all curtains can be closed anymore. Smaller things like a scissor are broken, etc. As we said it would be a lovely holiday house when all things are solved. And it would be great if customer services would be listening seriously.
