In this romantic wooden house you will enjoy "your" own lake at your doorstep. The house is situated on an estate in the characteristic village of Valkkoog (Sint Maarten). You can walk to the lively village centre in 20 minutes. Via a nice cycling route you can be on the beach of St. Maartenszee in 15 minutes. The holiday home is completely modernized and on the ground floor. From the kitchen and the bedrooms you have a wonderful view of the lake. Outside you will find several terraces with lounge chairs. You will certainly enjoy the environment and the tulips in the spring! In the yard are horse stables. You can even bring your own horse or take riding lessons. You can take a swim or go fishing in the lake. Shops and a supermarket are located at a kilometer distance. In Schagen you will really unwind. You can take nice trips as well. For example to the Battle of the Somme Museum, about the battle that took place near the Somme during WWI. Schagen and its surroundings are also perfect for nice walks. There are four different routes which connect to the Noord-Hollandpad trail. The Cornelis Bok walking and cycling routes are also special. They lead you to places where the artist painted two centuries ago.
