Dana Cup
Dana Cup – More Than Just Football
The Dana Cup is not just a football tournament – it is a week where sport, culture and holiday experiences come together. Every summer, Hjørring in Northern Jutland transforms into an international meeting point for young footballers, coaches and families from all over the world. On and off the pitch, the atmosphere is defined by excitement, community and unforgettable moments.
Truly International – Football Without Borders
The Dana Cup is one of the world’s largest and most respected youth football tournaments. With more than 1,000 teams from 56 nations, players compete in international groups, creating a unique mix of cultures, languages and playing styles. For many young athletes, the Dana Cup is their very first international tournament – and often an experience they remember for life.
The Dana Cup Experience
Over five intense days, teams are guaranteed at least four matches, played on some of Northern Europe’s finest football facilities. Beyond the matches, the program includes social events, ceremonies and activities that make the Dana Cup about much more than results and scorelines.
Highlights include the huge opening parade and spectacular opening ceremony on Monday night, as well as the popular Meet & Greet at the Leader Party on Tuesday evening.
Football Meets Family Holiday
The Dana Cup is also a perfect opportunity to combine football with a family holiday. While players are busy on the pitches, parents and siblings can enjoy Northern Jutland’s wide sandy beaches, beautiful nature and relaxed holiday atmosphere. Many families choose to stay together in a holiday home, creating a calm and flexible base during an otherwise action-packed week.
The Dana Cup combi concept brings together competitive football and quality family time – all in one destination.
