Holiday apartment - 3 persons - Mandre bb - Pag-Mandre - 23251 - Mandre

There are three apartments in the house and hosts, that are living there and gave us a warm welcome. The house is located on a slope about 200 m from the sea. We rented the smallest one, which is more than enough for two people. It's air-conditioned and has a TV, which we didn't use, as we don't watch TV while on vacation. There are a bedroom, a bathroom, a balcony with a partial sea view and a larger room with a couch, a table and a kitchen with basic utensils. What we missed was a larger and a better quality pan (there are two pans actually, a very small one and a larger one, but still only 24 cm and paper-thin that doesn't allow for even cooking), better knives and some fine sieve. You also have to watch out when operating the microwave - sometimes a fuse drops out when the microwave is switched on. The aircon does what it's supposed to do, but it doesn't reach the bedroom well even with the bedroom windows closed. No mosquito nets on the windows. The bed was comfortable for me but too firm for my wife. The balcony comes handy for having the breakfast and the dinner there, has some shading but it doesn't have a larger awning. As these are all only minor drawbacks, I would still recommend the apartment. Overall the owners are taking good care for the house and the surroundings and the apartment was impeccably clean. We also had a late check-out for free, as no guests were arriving on the day that we left.
